Description: Able to attack multiple enemies by blasting them with a gust of wind. Can also blow away shields from units.
Blast Gunner deals a decent amount of AOE damage with its blast gun.
The blast can knock back units and knock down shields at a 5 tile range, which makes this unit very powerful in defense with units such as the Bandit. It is far more useful against units than it is against facilities, so is best in defense of a base. Higher level weapons can increase the defensive potential massively.
Blast Gunner is currently one of two units in game that can knock down shields, the other is Samurai.

Shock Blast: increases range and speeds up attack speed, but largely reduces damage and removes the blast from attacks. It also briefly paralyses units it hits, making it excellent for base defense.
